This is a stunning area offering every possible leisure amenity.  There are lakes, mountains, skiing, thermal baths, elegant towns with amazing parks and gardens - absolutely everything that you could want from a holiday home.  For those of you who would like to buy in Tirol and can't afford the fancy prices then all you have to do is drive on up the road and you are ¾ hour away from Kitzbühel.  Along the way you pass through the lovely Austrian ski resort of Lofer, and then Waidring with its Steinplatte ski area, Kirchdorf in Tirol and then Kitzbühel.  Just look at the map!!  The main road to Zell am See passes through the area too.  If you need some nice family skiing locally then you will enjoy the Hochschwarzeck which is ideal for young families.  The culture of Salzburg is "just down the road"   What more could you want?
