The Eifel is a wonderful holiday region in the west of Germany bordering on Luxemburg.
The Rhine and Moselle valleys are close by as is Luxemburg. The French border is also close by so this area offers great holiday possibilities.  It is a area of extinct volcanoes with great forests, rolling hills and interesting rivers and streams.  It is well worth exploring.
